New Sheriff Substation will locate in Zillah Lakes
Talk about safe! The Yakima County Board of Commissioners has approved the contract to build a new Yakima County Sheriff's Substation at Zillah Lakes. The 3300 sq. ft facility will be located in the roundabout area and will be designed in the Zillah Lakes style. The result of a long negotiation and a strong desire to locate in Zillah Lakes, the substation will house 4 or 5 employees and will serve as the administrative center for the lower Yakima Valley. Construction has already begun and will be complete by July 31.
