(Federal Tax Credit July 1 Deadline Leaves Little Time Consider Purchase of New Home — But at Least Consider It!)
Here at Zillah Lakes, we firmly do NOT believe that buying a home under pressure is a good idea. However, if you've been considering a purchase in the growing Zillah Lakes Community, the next few month almost certainly will be the BEST time, in strictly financial terms.
Like planets moving into alignment, the recent extension and expansion of the Federal Tax Credit for Home purchase is lining up pretty astounding bargains when considered with current mortgage rates and historically low home prices.This confluence of positive factors suggest that you at least consider purchasing your new home at Zillah Lakes in the next couple of months.
Unfortunately, the timeline is even shorter if you are plan to build a home to your specifications on a lot of your choice (think of it as a $6,500 to $8,000 time-delimited coupon that the Fed is trying to give to you). Fortunately, our award-winning builder, United Builders of Washington can still build a gorgeous home for you from scratch on lake or future golf course in time to meet the federal timelines, but time is short: you have only until March 1 to complete an offer.
